Welcome to Oldie-Markt, the oldest magazine
worldwide, serving record collectors since 1977.
Since its foundation in 1977, Oldie-Markt tries to
provide record collectors with all, they possibly are looking for. To make this possible,
we relied on two pillars: The editorial part and the advertisement part.
The editorial part, that we augmented steadily in
the last years, offers you four different attractions:
First of all at least five big stories in each
issues, that come with complete discographies, that list - as the only magazine worldwide!
- all tracklistings of LPs & CDs, even those of compilations. We try to cover the
whole world in each story, but include at least complete discographies of the most
important countries Germany, UK and USA. In each Oldie-Markt, you will find an update of a
story, we first printed in the 80s and a story and discography of a label, that is
important for record collectors, like Vertigo swirl, Brain or Bacillus.
Besides those big stories we include shorter
stories about recent reissues, books, magazines or CD-Boxes, that are of interest for
record collectors. Furthermore, we review in each issue 60 recent CDs, equally divided
between interesting Reissues and new recordings. In the middle of Oldie-Markt there is the
Flashback-part also. It contains the UK- and German-Charts of the month 27 years before
and news from this time. The advertisement-part starts at the end of the editorial part
already: In the Flohmarkt each reader has the chance to makes the collectors aware of his
offers by word-ads.
The basic advertisement-part, whose rules and
regulations you can check out on the page How To Advertise (for our scandinavian readers
we have the Smaannonsemarkt), starts with the auction, in which each month readers offer
for readers more than 10.000 Vinyl-records and more than 5.000 CDs. You may also advertise
in the Set Sale-part, where you get contacted directyl by the readers or look for records
in the Wants-section. Everybody may take part in the auctions, just fill out the regarding
bidding- or advertisement-sheets. If you want to take part by computer, we provide this
service since quite a time. Just get in touch with fun with music. They work together with
Oldie-Markt and are happy to explain you how this works.
